Servo Motors defined as one of the most common device used in electronics and embedded systems. Servo motor tester is a simple and reliable method to test servo, ESC, and can be used to determine motor direction. This module can effectively test up to 3 servo motors at the same time. This servo teter motor also used as a signal generator for ESC (electric speed controller). That means we can test the motor without any transmitter and receiver.
There are 3 modes of operation for checking the servo:
- Manual mode: By turning the knob at a different speed, reaction time noted
- Neutral mode: Servo goes back to the neutral point
- Automatic window wiper mode: The motor swing like a window wiper with the biggest angle.
The Servo motor is capable of rotating from 0 to 180 degrees, but it can go up to 210 degrees, depending on the manufacturing. The degree of rotation of servo-controlled by applying the Electrical Pulse of proper width, to its Control pin. Servo checks the pulse in every 20 milliseconds. Pulse of 1 ms (1 millisecond) width rotates the servo to 0 degrees, 1.5ms rotates to 90 degrees (neutral position) and 2 ms pulse can rotate it to 180 degrees.This module can also use connect the servos of the helicopter and select servos. This servomotor tester is quite simple to connect. Initially connect a receiver battery, then plugin up to the servos, and select the function you want with the push button.
