This 40A DC Motor Speed Regulator PWM Controller 2000W designed as a Mini Style DC Motor Speed Controller. This is a PWM speed controller used to control the speed of DC motor by adjusting pulse-width-modulated DC voltage. It provides a DC voltage with a Duty Cycle fully adjustable from 0%-100%. The onboard potentiometer knob adjusts the change in output duty cycle, as the motor speed changes. In this module, the positive and negative terminals of the DC power supply do not reverse. Otherwise, the governor gets damage.
Here the DC voltage varied from 9V to 50V with a maximum power of 2000W. This controller can supply up to 40A depending on the power supply. The controller has 6 high-quality NCE7190A MOSFETs connected to the heat sink. Here the board comes with a protective covering made of ABS. The PWM controller enables to control of the speed of DC brush motors smoothly. Hence it has great applications in car motor, dc heaters, bulbs, etc. By changing the duty ratio of output wave to adjust average current power from 0 to 100% on load, thus can change the motor speed.
Pulse-width modulation (PWM) or duty-cycle variation methods commonly used in the speed control of DC motors. The duty cycle defined as the percentage of digital ‘high’ to digital ‘low’ in addition to digital ‘high’ pulse-width during a PWM period. This defined as a great method of controlling the amount of power delivered to a load without dissipating any wasted power. The motor can be positive or negative, when the direction of operation and expectations do not match, you can adjust the line order to change the direction.
