The Tb6612Fng Dual Motor Driver Module can control up to two DC motors at a constant current of 1.2A (3.2A peak). The TB6612FNG is an easy and affordable way to control motors. The IN1 and IN2 input signals (IN1 and IN2) in the module control the motor in one of four function modes i.e, CW, CCW, short-brake, and stop.
These dual motor outputs (A and B) can be separately controlled, in which the speed of each motor is controlled via a PWM input signal with a frequency up to 100kHz. In order to take the motor out of standby mode, the STBY pin should be pulled high. The motor operates with a logic supply voltage (VCC) in the range of 2.7-5.5VDC, while the motor supply (VM) is limited to a maximum voltage of 15VDC. The module provides a rated output current of 1.2A per channel (or up to 3.2A for a short, single pulse).
The Tb6612Fng Dual Motor Driver Module comes with all components installed on it. The Decoupling capacitors are attached to both supply lines of the driver module. And all the pins of the TB6612FNG broken out into two 0.1 pitch headers. Hence, the pins on the module are arranged in such a way that input pins come on one side and output pins are on the other side. TB6612FNG driver IC is a low-cost DC motor with an output transistor in LD MOS structure with a low ON-resistor. Moreover, this module features a built-in thermal shutdown circuit and a low voltage detecting circuit makes it highly efficient.
