This Water Proof RTD PT100 Temperature Sensor is made up of Stainless Steel Pole Probe that is water-immersible. This probe helps you to measure precision air or liquid temperature measurements. or in wet conditions. Because they are digital, there won’t be any signal degradation even over a long distance. These Resistance Temperature Detectors are temperature sensors that contain a resistor that changes resistance value as its temperature changes.
PT100 consists of a length of fine coiled wire wrapped around a ceramic or glass core. This element is usually quite fragile, so it is often placed inside a sheathed probe to protect it. The Stainless steel tube encapsulation protects the probe from waterproof moisture-proof thus preventing rust. This temperature sensor is designed as a pure material whose resistance at various temperatures has been documented. The material offers a change in resistance as the temperature changes. So this variation in resistance is used to determine temperature.
The pt100 is said to be one of the most accurate temperature sensors providing excellent stability and repeatability. This sensor-equipped with an RTD PT100 temperature sensor embedded into a 6x40mm stainless steel probe and comes with a 1/2metre cable and 2 wires at the end. This module is capable of measuring Temperature at a range of-200C to 420C, be accurate to 0.5C.
