Description
The 16×2 LCD Display with IIC/I²C Serial Interface is a compact and easy-to-use character display capable of showing 16 characters per line on 2 lines. The I²C interface simplifies wiring by reducing the number of required pins to just two (SDA and SCL), freeing up microcontroller GPIO for other tasks.
Equipped with an onboard PCF8574 I²C I/O expander, the module is compatible with HD44780-based LCDs and works seamlessly with Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, STM32, and other microcontroller platforms. It is ideal for displaying sensor readings, system status, menus, and messages in embedded systems, IoT devices, and DIY electronics projects.
The module also features adjustable contrast and backlight control for clear readability in various lighting conditions. Its low power consumption and compact form factor make it perfect for both prototyping and permanent installations.
