20 Pin Round Base

20 Pin Round IC Base adaptor designed as a 20 pin IC holder, that can be soldered directly onto the PCB. This Round IC Base is a high reliable machined round pin dual-in-line (DIP) socket (base). Which came with gold-plated copper alloy contacts. The IC can be removed from this socket whenever required. So in case if your IC damages you can easily replace it without desoldering. The 20 Pin IC Base easily munted on the socket at the time of use. This base acts as a removable IC holder. They provide easy safe removal and insertion of IC chips. The IC also used for prototyping new circuits because they allow easy component swapping.

This is a low-cost 20 pin IC base that came with a pitch of 2.54mm with a row spacing of 15.4mm for DIP IC’s.  Basically, the IC base allows easy replacement of IC eliminating the risk of damage from overheating during soldering & desoldering process. This achieved by first soldering the base to the board then plugging within the IC later. IC bases also are useful if you would like to reuse ICs without the necessity to desolder them whenever The socket used when the IC temperature becomes sensitive and the heat from the soldering iron can damage the IC. This socket used when working with a microcontroller IC and can be removed for programming.
