This is a 4 Series 40A 18650 Lithium Battery Protection Board 14.8V 16.8V with Cable. It is designed as  Balance Board specifically for Drill Motor Lipo Cell Module. This protection board module comes with a recovery function known as AUTO Recovery. And Integrated 10 low load resistance MOS tubes. It is capable of providing a continuous discharge current of 40A, a Balanced current, for electric drill/sprayer/LED lights/low power inverter. Highly recommended to reduce the load current use, if the cooling environment is not good.
The Scope of Nominal voltage of 3.6V, 3.7V lithium battery (including 18650,26650, a polymer lithium battery) where Charging voltage ranges between 16.8V to 18.1V. Meanwhile, these board operates smoothly with a Continuous charge current of (upper limit): 20A. Whereas the balanced version is perfect for starting current below 80A, power 135W below the drill (with balance). Moreover, the Board comes in a size of approx. 46 x 60 x 3.4 mm which can be easily installed in a compact size or on the battery bundle itself.
Note:
- Three 15C-20C power batteries or six 10C-15C power batteries are required to start the drill (regular 18650 batteries will not start the drill!!).
- Do not intentionally short circuit 0V, 4.2V, 8.4V, 12.6V, 16.8V according to the map wiring.
- When the brush motor is under load, consider connecting a non-polar capacitor to the motor’s positive and negative terminals (withstand voltage over 25V, capacity 10uF-100uF). This is done to avoid the motor’s reverse spike. The MOS tube must be broken.
- If the voltage of each set of batteries is not the same, fill each battery separately and then use in series. The voltage drops faster in the discharge test, indicating that the battery belongs to the bad category.
