ADALM-PLUTO
The ADALM-PLUTO (PlutoSDR) is a USB-powered software-defined radio for RF learning, wireless prototyping, and signal processing research, covering 325 MHz–3.8 GHz.
The ADALM-PLUTO, also known as PlutoSDR, is a software-defined radio (SDR) active learning module developed by Analog Devices. It provides a powerful, flexible, and affordable platform for wireless communication experimentation, RF education, and signal processing research.
Designed to cover frequencies from 325 MHz to 3.8 GHz (expandable up to 6 GHz with firmware), the ADALM-PLUTO supports both transmit (Tx) and receive (Rx) functions, enabling users to explore a wide range of modern wireless systems including FM radio, LTE, Wi-Fi, GSM, Bluetooth, and satellite communications.
Powered by the AD9363 RF transceiver and a Xilinx Zynq Z-7010 SoC, PlutoSDR combines RF hardware, programmable logic, and ARM processing into a compact USB-powered device. It interfaces seamlessly with popular SDR software such as MATLAB, GNU Radio, SDRangel, and PySDR, making it ideal for students, educators, hobbyists, and engineers.
