This is a monostable generator based on the NE555 integrated circuit. This NE555 Delay Monostable Switch Module is a timer switch module, based on the NE555 chip. It offers a high-performance timing CPU design. The onboard LED indicates the power status and switch trigger timing. Timing can be varied from microseconds to long hours as per the requirement. These modules are widely used in applications such as vehicle equipment delay to prevent car ignition, prevention of high sudden current to burn components and devices. These precision timing circuits generate an accurate time delay or oscillation. Hence in the time-delay or mono-stable mode of operation, the timed interval is controlled by a single external resistor or capacitive network.
This Simple Circuitry Precision Pulse Generator provides Timing from Microseconds to HOURS. It has an adjustable delay time from 0 to 10 seconds using the potentiometer or by changing the capacitance. It is also capable of controlling the device below 220V/10A. This module operates at a specified voltage supply of 5 V to 15 V. Therefore by using a 5-V supply, output levels are compatible with TTL inputs.
Under the normal condition when power is not supplied, the module remains “NO”( normal open )CB and COM are conductive. CK and COM are unconducive. When the power supply is connected for a delay of 0-10s, the module will in the state of “NC” (normal closed) CB and COM are unconducive, CK and COM are conductive. Moreover, this pulse generator module offers signal side design, has optocoupler isolation, the anti-interference ability can adapt to the high-low level two kinds of control signal application, making it ideal for industrial control.
