The intelligent devices are known as digital energy meters, also known as advanced meters or smart meters, which automatically record the user’s consumption of voltage, current, useful power, cost of electricity, frequency, and power factor. With the architecture of the electricity grid becoming increasingly and more computerized, it is essential to guarantee a steady and safe flow of digital communications. Through a secure network, smart energy meters provide data to the energy supplier about energy use.

The extra-large LCD displays the voltage, current, active power, and energy at the same time.  The blue backlight has a manual on/off switch. They are used in  220V power grid applications with a 20A/5000W rated power. Power can be supplied by an isolated power source, system, or DC converter; nevertheless, proper wiring must strictly follow the wiring schematic. Switching the L and N load wire is advised if the device does not display the current reading.

Note: – The product comes with an internal current transformer; no external current transformer is needed.
