The ENC28J60 is a board with an Ethernet port and an Ethernet input that is connected to SPI. It’s an Ethernet controller with a serial peripheral interface that may be used on its own. ENC28J60 makes use of the new ENC28J60 host microchip to handle the majority of network protocol requirements. As a result, the board is immediately linked to most microcontrollers through a conventional SPI interface with a transmission rate of up to 25 MHz.
