Description

A level shifter (level translator) in digital electronics is also referred to as logic-level shifter or voltage level translation. This circuit designed to translate signals from one logic level or voltage domain to a different one. Thus allowing compatibility between ICs with different voltage requirements, like TTL and CMOS. This Level Converter- 4 channel bi-directional allows safe and straightforward communication between devices operating at different logic levels. The logic level converter circuit convert signals are as low as 1.8 V to high as 5V and vice versa.  And its four channels are enough to support the commonest bidirectional and unidirectional digital interfaces, including I²C, SPI, and asynchronous TTL serial. the extent converter is extremely easy to use. The board must be powered from the 2 voltages sources (high voltage and low voltage) that your system is using.

In case, if we’d like to attach a 3.3V device to a 5V system, you recognize how difficult it’s. This bi-directional logic level converter is designed as a compact device that safely steps down 5V signals to three .3V and steps up 3.3V to 5V at an equivalent time. This level converter is also compatible with the 2.8V and 1.8V devices. The main advantage of this Logic level converter from our previous versions is that you simply can successfully set your high and low voltages and intensify and down between them safely on an equivalent channel. Each level converter has the potential of converting 4 pins on the high side to 4 pins on the low side with two inputs and two outputs provided for every side.

How to use:

  1. High voltage (5V for example) connected to the ‘HV’ pin
  2. Low voltage (3.3V for example) to ‘LV’
  3. Gound from the system to the ‘GND’ pin.
