FN-M22P module is a high quality, compact, and low price module with a perfect integrated MP3 and WAV decoder chip. These modules support parallel port control mode, UART serial port control, and key control mode with simplified output directly to the speaker. This module can be used as a stand-alone module with a battery, push-button, and speaker attached to it. Or else in combination with an Arduino UNO or any other RX/TX capabilities. It takes a micro SD card or USB flash stick as a storage device, which is the user’s option to choose. FN-M22P audio playback module works with most Windows, Mac, and Linux systems. A maximum of 3000 audio files under the root directory of storage devices is supported. Moreover, this module supports random playback with 255 audio files. It offers a 24 bit DAC output and supports a dynamic range of 90dB and SNR 85dB.
FN-M22P operates at a voltage range of 3.3V to 5V with a standby current of 2mA. A built-in amplifier of 3 watts can drive a 3-watt speaker directly. As a result, provides 30 levels of adjustable volume and 6 levels of adjustable EQ. This module also supports playback in serial mode without any pause. Moreover, it can also update audio files in the SD card via USB connecting with a PC.
