The TTP223 Touch Key Module is defined as a touch-sensing IC (TTP223) with a capacitive touch switch module. This capacitive touch sensor module supports the dedicated TTP223 touch sensor IC. The module provides one integrated touch sensing area of 11 x 10.5mm with a sensor range of ~5mm.
An onboard LED will provide a visual indication of when the sensor is triggered. Under normal conditions, the output of the module is in a low state. When triggered, the output switches from its idle low state to high (default operation). Two Solder jumpers are used for reconfiguring its mode of operation to be either active low or toggle output. By Shorting Jumper A provides Active Low Output, if left Open, Active High Output. Shorting Jumper B gives the toggle mode on/off, if left Open when touched it works as momentary ON.
The TTP223 Red Touch button module is basically a touch pad detector IC that offers a single touch key. This touch detection IC is designed specifically for replacing traditional direct button keys with diverse pad sizes. This module features Low power consumption and wide operating voltage for DC or AC makes it suitable for a wide range of applications. It is also used as a slight switch to regulate various outputs and also this will be utilized in many applications associated with touch.
Trigger-setting mode for TTP223:Â (1- > Short ; 0- > No Short)
