Description
The ribbon cable is a multiconductor, flat, and thin cable used for data transmission and communication in an electronic system. Also known as multi-wire planar cables as it contains many cable wires arranged parallel to each other on the same flat plane. It is often used when space is a factor, since they are flat and lies underneath, it consumes only less space. Ribbon cables often represented by the number of conductors and spacing between them.
