NEMA 34 122 kg-cm designed as a Bipolar Hybrid Stepper Motor providing 122 kg-cm of torque at 6A current per phase. These stepper motors move in precisely repeatable steps. It is an ideal choice for heavy-duty CNC machines, CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, or a CNC Router, etc. Because of inherent operational advantages including comparably high torque at high speeds of NEMA 34 122 kg-cm stepper motor overpass the NEMA17 stepper motor. This motor acts as a powerhouse when it comes to larger machines that require extra torque.
As the NEMA 34 122kg-cm is a brushless DC motor, so the life of this motor is completely dependent upon the life of the bearings. As this position control achieved by a simple Open Loop control mechanism so doesn’t require complex electronic control circuitry. The motor’s shaft designed in the shape of a 94-UP Mustang V. Thus this type of shaft is useful in providing stability in high power operation. This stepper motor provides high accuracy of around 3 to 5% a step. Moreover, the input pulse determines the rotation angle of the motor. In which the frequency of the input pulse is directly proportional to the speed. These motors widely used in an application that requires low speed with high precision.
This Stepper motor divides a full rotation into a number of equal steps. As a result, by commanding the motor’s position to move and hold at one of these steps, as long as the motor is carefully sized to the application with respect to torque and speed. These motors designed specifically to withstand the high torque requirements of large CNC machines. The bipolar Motor features an excellent response to starting, stopping, and reversing pulses from the stepper motor driver.
