The TSW-20 Turbidity Sensor measures water clarity using light scattering and provides an analog output through an amplifier board for embedded applications.
Description
The TSW-20 Turbidity Sensor with Amplifier Board is a practical sensor used to measure water turbidity (clarity or cloudiness) by detecting the scattering of light caused by suspended particles in water. Increased turbidity indicates higher levels of impurities such as silt, dirt, or microorganisms.
The sensor features a waterproof probe and an amplifier/conditioning board that converts the sensor signal into a stable analog output, making it easy to interface with microcontrollers like Arduino, ESP32, STM32, and Raspberry Pi. The amplifier board improves sensitivity and ensures reliable readings in real-time applications.
The TSW-20 turbidity sensor is widely used in water quality monitoring, aquaculture systems, wastewater treatment, smart irrigation, environmental monitoring, and educational electronics projects, offering a simple and cost-effective solution for turbidity measurement.
