This 24v 40W Ceramic Cartridge Heater heats up the hot end quickly and hits the highest of temperatures. Cartridge heaters consist of a cylindrical stainless steel tube and thus provide high corrosion prevention. It also comes with a meter of silicone insulated high-temperature wire. In this cartridge, the heating wire inside wound onto a ceramic core. The selection of coils varies depending on the power and provides an excellent uniform distribution of heat. Thus it considerably increases the long life of the heater in addition to prevents the oxidation of the heater wire even at high temperatures.
The cartridge heater heats up the solids, liquids, and gases that need to be heated and transmit heat quickly by conduction if the generator of the heat (the cartridge) is in direct contact with the heat sink (any solid, liquid or gas).
