Description

TL072 designed as a high-voltage JFET-input operational amplifier with low noise versions and a high slew rate.This low noise op-amp is ideal for high-fidelity and audio preamplifier applications. Each amplifier features JFET inputs (for high input impedance) including bipolar output stages integrated on one monolithic chip. The IC offers a variety of working conditions a good range of working voltages and possesses direct interfacing capability with almost every PMOS, CMOS, and NMOS device. Moreover, the IC offers a good array of features like high noise immunity, ESD barring/reduction, and exceptionally low power dissipation.

TL072 is especially used where high-accuracy is required with reference to low harmonic and noise, as used for audio pre-amplification. The audio pre-amplification means for getting output audio with low noise, interference, distortion and also used for controlling the volume, bass and treble. It also compares the voltage just like the other op-amp ICs do. So, are often used as avoltage comparator IC. Moreover, TL072 also features low Input bias and Offset currents.
