This 1.75mm HIPS 3D Printer Filament Black Wanhaodesigned to generate highly detailed and quality output products using HIPS filament. This 3D printer filament available in 1.75mm sizes and stored on 1 Kg (2.2 lbs) spools. This filament works perfectly for 3D printing objects with citrus-like tones around the house. These orange HIPS filaments widely used to create sculptures, toys, puzzles, and even warning signs. Light Blue High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) defined as a highly versatile 3D printer filament available in the market. HIPS function as an impact-resistant plastic and thus printed on its own or as a supports for ABS (very useful with dual-head printers). Once 3D printed, recommended to submerse the printed object in Limonene. So that the material will dissolve leaving only the ABS model.
It can be dissolved when immersed with Limonene, making supports easy to remove post-print. HIPS filament widely used for creating large structures where supports are crucial. It typically shares the same strength and hardness properties as ABS, but offers better performance than PLA.  HIPS capable of printing on its own or used as a support material. It offers an extrusion temperature at a range of 220 degrees C – 260 degrees C. This easy-to-process filament comes in an airtight container or sealed bag at room temperature with desiccant to protect the filament from humidity. Otherwise, HIPS absorbs moisture, thereby affecting the dimensional tolerances of your 3D printer filament. So highly recommended using airtight storage containers, buckets, or zip lock bags to keep the material free from humidity.
