Description

Printed circuit board (PCB) relays are designed as compact relay devices used for power management in control system designs. These relays can be mounted directly on the printed circuit board. Relays are mainly used for more than 3A load switches and are used in a wide range of household appliances, such as refrigerators, washing machines, and AV devices. An electromechanical PCB relay consists of a coil, an armature, and contacts. Applying power to the coil generates a magnetic field. This causes the armature to move and the contacts to open or close. Meanwhile, these electromechanical relays ensure excellent contact ratings and a wide range of form, fit, and functions for different applications. These PCB  relays offer long mechanical and electrical life and also feature fast switching times in the 0.45 to the 1.00-microsecond range.
