Description
A carbon Film Resistor is a resistive element made out of a thin carbon film on a non-conducting material. Axial resistors of this sort are one of the most common. The 1 KOhm 1/4 Watt Carbon Film Resistor is a fixed resistor that employs carbon film to confine electrical current to a specific threshold. Carbon Fim Resistor is made by depositing a carbon film over a ceramic substrate that serves as an insulator. The carbon coating also blocks electrical current to a certain extent.
