This 2 Channel 5V Relay module, designed to control various appliances, and other equipment with a large current. The 2 channel relays modules consist of two relays electrically isolated from the controlling input. In a low level 2 channel relay interface board, each channel needs a 10 to 20mA driven current. These relay modules are equipped with current relays that work under AC 250V/10A or DC 30V/10A. This module has a standard interface that can be controlled by the microcontroller. These can be operated directly by 3.3 V or 5V logic signals from a microcontroller (Arduino, PIC, 8051, AVR, DSP, ARM, MSP430, TTL logic). It has a 2.54mm pitch pin header for power communication and for controlling two relays.
This 2 Channel Relay Module has connections for all 3 terminals of the relay i.e. NO, NC, and COM. There exist 2 LEDs on the relay module in which red indicates the status of the relay and green for power. When the input digital signal switches to high, the relay remains switched ON (closed), else switch to OFF (opened). This module can control various applications and equipment with a large current that is compliant with international safety.
This Relay circuit is defined as a small and easy-to-use 4 channel relay board that operates on 5V. And also this 2-channel relay module is widely used to control one 240V power appliance directly from Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontrollers or low voltage circuits. In short, it is Perfect for switching 240V appliances – lights, fans, etc, and even high power motors at lower voltages.
