The 27C128 designed as high-performance 128K UV Erasable Electrically Programmable Read Only Memory. The device organized as 16K words by 8 bits (16K bytes). Accessing individual bytes from an address transition or from power-up (chip enable pin going low) accomplished in less than 120 ns. CMOS design and processing enables this part to used in systems where reduced power consumption and high reliability necessary. Meanwhile, a full suite of packages was made available to enable the maximum application freedom. PLCC, SOIC, and TSOP packaging are offered for surface mount applications. For PLCC or SOIC products, tape and reel packaging is also possible. Versions that are UV erasable are also available.
