74LS175 designed as a monolithic, positive edge-triggered flip flops utilize TTL circuitry to implement D-type flip-flop logic. 74LS175 is a high-speed Quad D Flip-Flop. All have direct clear input and feature complimentary output from each flipflop. Information at the D input meeting the setup requirement transferred to the Q output n the positive-going edge of the clock pulse. Clock triggering occurs at the particular voltage level and is not directly related to transition-edge positive-going pulse. when the clock input is either high or low, the D input signal has no effect on the output.
The device is useful for general flip-flop requirements where clock and clear inputs are common. The information on the D inputs stored during the LOW to HIGH clock transition. Both true and complemented outputs of each flip-flop are provided. A Master Reset input resets all flip-flops, independent of the Clock or D inputs, when LOW.
The 74LS175 is fabricated with the Schottky barrier diode process for high speed and is completely compatible with all Motorola TTL families.
The 74LS175 is a high-speed Si-gate CMOS device and is pin compatible with low power Schottky TTL
(LSTTL). They are specified in compliance with JEDEC standard no. 7A. Â The D flip-flop is an edge triggered device which transfers input data to Q on clock rising or falling edge. Data Latches are level sensitive devices such as the data latch and the transparent latch.
