This brushless motor is said to be an OUTRUNNER type as its outside case rotates while the inside stays fixed. It is one of the prominent models in the market preferred for small drones and planes. These A221 DC motors are suitable for medium size quadcopters with 8 inches to 10-inch propellers. Without a 3S LiPo battery, using 30A ESC and high efficiency 10″ propellers, can generate up to 800gms. This means using 4 of these motors on a quadcopter with 10″ propellers will give you a total of 3.2 kg thrust. This helps to build powerful and efficient quadcopters.
