ACS712 5A current sensor module
The ACS712 5A Current Sensor Module is a Hall-effect-based sensor for accurate AC/DC current measurement up to ±5A in embedded projects.
The ACS712 5A Current Sensor Module is a reliable Hall-effect–based sensor designed to measure AC and DC currents up to ±5A. It provides accurate, isolated current sensing, making it ideal for power monitoring, overcurrent protection, and energy measurement projects.
The module outputs an analog voltage proportional to the current, which can be easily read by microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, STM32, and PIC using an ADC pin. Thanks to its electrical isolation, it ensures safe current measurement without direct electrical connection to the load.
With its compact, breadboard-friendly design and low noise characteristics, the ACS712 5A module is widely used in battery monitoring systems, motor control, inverter projects, solar power systems, and educational electronics labs.
