The Active Buzzer Module is a simple and reliable sound output device used to generate an audible beep or alarm when powered. Unlike a passive buzzer, this module has a built-in oscillator, allowing it to produce sound by applying a DC voltage—no external signal generation is required.
It can be directly controlled using a microcontroller GPIO pin such as Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, or STM32. The module typically operates at 3.3V to 5V, making it ideal for low-power embedded applications. Its compact size and easy interface make it perfect for alert systems and indicator applications.
Common uses include alarm systems, notification alerts, timers, security systems, robotics, and educational projects.
