This flexible uFL 2.4GHz antenna is 4″ / 100mm long and has a gain of around 4DBi and a 50 impedance. As a result, it’ll function great with almost any 2.4-2.5GHz wireless receiver/transmitter. Radio waves are used by wireless devices to communicate with one another. These wireless communications are electromagnetic waves (EM waves) that contain data packets. WiFi antennas transform electromagnetic waves into electrical impulses and vice versa.
Receiving and transmitting antennas are found in wireless networking devices such as routers, cellphones, laptops, tablets, and hotspots. Receiving antennas scavenge EM waves holding data packets and turn them into electrical signals that the device can handle. The transmitting antennas, on the other hand, transform electrical impulses into EM waves in order to send the knowledge packets.
