The AUIPS7221R is a dual-channel digital isolator and smart high-side switch with built-in protection for automotive and industrial power control.
The AUIPS7221R is a dual-channel intelligent power switch and digital isolator designed by Infineon Technologies. It integrates two high-side MOSFET drivers with advanced protection and diagnostic features, providing safe, reliable, and efficient power switching for industrial, automotive, and embedded control applications.
Operating as a smart high-side switch, the AUIPS7221R offers galvanic isolation between logic control and load circuits, protecting sensitive microcontrollers from high-voltage transients. Each channel can drive loads independently with built-in overcurrent, overtemperature, and short-circuit protection, ensuring robust and fail-safe operation.
With its CMOS-compatible digital inputs, low R<sub>DS(on)</sub>, and fast switching speed, the AUIPS7221R is ideal for relay replacement, actuator control, motor driving, and industrial automation systems.
