The Duplicator i3 designed as an open-framed machine housed in a durable metal frame. The open-framed structure setup makes easy up-gradation of 3D printers. The older versions of this printer had stability issues and came with low-quality parts, especially the bearings. Moreover, the current version V2.1 comes with more stability and better equipped to handle extended printing sessions. The Duplicator i3 V2 3D Printer Wanhao comes with an MK10 single extruder and a heated print bed. However, the MK10 extruder isn’t exactly the best at handling high temperatures, still It is possible to print with high-temperature materials But certain upgrades are necessary in order to print with more advanced materials.
This Duplicator i3 printer is accompanied by a control box. The control box consists of the interface, a standard knob-operated LCD, as well as the USB and SD slots. A spool holder also attached at the top of the control box. A set of thick cables connects the main unit and the control box. While not all over the place like with other open-framed 3D printers, the other cables connecting the moving parts could have been managed better.
This easy-to-install and high-performance printer offer many filament options beyond common plastics like PLA, ABS, PVA, PEVA, or HIPS. This 3D Printer kit frame made from hardened steel, and both the extruder and base are capable of moving independently of one another. The printer communicates via dedicated software on your computer or with the code-based microcontroller that sits at the side. This printer works at both 110V and 220V inputs. But flip the switch into the right position before plugging it in. If you live in an area with a different outlet voltage, make sure to use a step-down or step-up converter in conjunction with this product.
