HB100 Microwave Doppler Radar Motion Sensor module

The HB100 Microwave Doppler Radar Sensor Module detects motion and speed using 10.525 GHz radar technology, ideal for security and automation projects.

Description

The HB100 Microwave Doppler Radar Motion Sensor Module is a high-frequency radar sensor operating at 10.525 GHz, designed to detect motion, speed, and presence of moving objects using the Doppler effect. It transmits microwave signals and measures the frequency shift of reflected waves to determine motion and velocity.

Unlike PIR sensors, the HB100 can detect motion through non-metallic materials such as plastic, glass, and thin walls, making it ideal for concealed or enclosed installations. The module provides an analog IF (intermediate frequency) output, which can be processed using amplifiers or read by microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, STM32, and Raspberry Pi for advanced motion or speed detection.

The HB100 is widely used in intruder alarms, automatic doors, speed measurement systems, occupancy detection, traffic sensing, and industrial automation projects, offering reliable and precise radar-based motion detection.
