Light travels at different speeds through different substances. It goes slightly slower through glass and plastic than it does through air.
A magnifying glass is usually made of glass or plastic and has a convex lens (one that bulges outwards). When light strikes the glass at an angle, it is refracted towards the lens’s center. Leaving the glass causes it to refract, even more, implying that these streams of light will eventually converge. These are unique in that they have two lens slots and one fixed front round lens (8X). The two back lens slots can hold one or two lenses at a time.
Since all of the lenses on the headlamp can be folded when not in use, you can utilise any one of them or any combination of the three (1 fixed lens and 2 replace). It also consists of a soft, breathable sponge-padded headband with two rotational knobs on the left and right that revolve anticlockwise to remove the entire lighting frame from the headband, making it more comfortable to wear. This magnifying working lamp, which comes in a variety of magnifications, aids in the improvement of low vision and allows for good sight even when stitching.
