The LM2577 3A DC-DC Step UP LED Voltmeter 3-34 to 4-35V Adjustable Boost Converter module is a 150 kHz fixed frequency PWM buck (step-down) DC/DC module. Â LM2577 3A DC-DC steps up the input voltage from 3V ~ 34V to any high output voltage from 4V ~ 35V at a continuous current of 3A depending on the input-output voltage settings. Since it is a boost convertor the output voltage will be always higher than the input voltage. This DC to DC boost converter provides excellent line and load regulation, as it is capable of driving a 3A load current. Under the condition when the output current exceeds 2A, a heat sink provided to avoid thermal damages.
This step-up power module booster is a low-cost module with over current and current limiting features. A built-in 3A efficient MOSFET switches enable to achieve an efficiency of up to 92%. Thus LM2577 offers better results and a low ripple factor. This step-up switching current (BOOST) module allows the use of small-capacity filter components compared with low frequency switching regulators. Thus module allows to reduce the overall board size to be smaller and thus helps for space-saving. An on-board Red LED present in the module illuminates when power applied.
The module comes with a multi-turn pot for adjustment of the output voltage. Turning the pot CW increases the output voltage while turning it CCW decreases the output voltage. This boost converter Ideal for battery-operated projects requiring a regulated power supply. It has an Adjustable Power Supply Step-up Module, maximum input current 3A, the highest conversion efficiency 92%.
