This Nema17 Stepper Motor With Stainless Steel 8mm 300mm Lead Screw + T8 Nut designed explicitly for 3D Printer and CNC. Here we use NEMA17 4.2 kg-cm stepper motor for the 3D printer, CNC Router, and Mills, Camera Platforms, XYZ Plotters, etc. operation. And the motor comes with a304 Stainless Steel lead screws with a diameter of 8mm. The lead screw comes with a length of 300m and lead of thread 8mm.
The NEMA17 4.2 kg-cm designed as a Single Shaft Stepper Motor providing 4.2 kg-cm of torque at 1.5A current per phase. These stepper motors move in precisely repeatable steps. Hence they are the ideal motors for machines requiring precise position control. Stepper Motor Drivers used to command to move or hold at one position of the motor. The NEMA17 4.2 kg-cm Stepper Motor features an excellent response to starting, stopping, and reversing pulses from the stepper motor driver.
As the NEMA17 4.2 kg-cm is a brushless DC motor, so the life of this motor is completely dependent upon the life of the bearings. As this position control achieved by a simple Open Loop control mechanism so doesn’t require complex electronic control circuitry. The motor’s shaft designed for good grip with a pulley, drive gear, etc., and especially avoiding stall or slip. This stepper motor provides high accuracy of around 3 to 5% a step. Moreover, the input pulse determines the rotation angle of the motor. In which the frequency of the input pulse is directly proportional to the speed.
NOTE: Consider an error of 1-2cm due to manual measurement.
