- Reed Relay 12mm Single
- Current: 1.2A
A reed relay defined as a kind of relay that uses an electromagnet to act directly on the reed-like contact of a reed switch. Reed relay contained within a glass envelope, typically bringing the reeds together to form contact when the electromagnet energized. When the device exposed to magnetic flux, the 2 ferrous materials inside the switch gather. And therefore the switch closes. When the magnetic flux removed, the reeds separate and therefore the switch opens. This makes for an excellent non-contact switch. This switch capable of carrying current up to 1.2A
Reed relays are utilized in many areas where smaller, faster-acting relays are needed in an electronic or circuit. They require a way lower level of power to actuate them than other traditional sorts of relay. And, as a result, they find many uses in various sorts of electronic circuits.
In addition to the present, reed relays or reed switches often made much smaller than traditional sorts of relays, although their current capability exists as smaller amount. They still provide a beautiful proposition in many instances. An extra advantage of reed relays is that they will offer higher levels of reliability than other relays due to their simplicity and few moving parts. But still being mechanical, they’re not always as reliable as fully solid-state relays and switches.
