Description
The SIM800L V2 5V GSM GPRS Modem TTL with Antenna is a compact and powerful cellular communication module that enables GSM voice calls, SMS, and GPRS data transmission for embedded and IoT applications. This V2 version includes an onboard 5V power regulation, allowing direct connection to Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, and other TTL serial devices without complex power circuitry.
The module communicates via UART (TTL) serial interface using standard AT commands. It supports quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) for wide network compatibility. Supplied with an external antenna, the modem ensures reliable signal reception and stable communication.
Common applications include SMS alert systems, GPS trackers, remote monitoring, smart meters, security systems, and IoT projects.
