This Single-phase AC active output voltage mutual inductance module was designed specifically based on a high precision ZMPT101B voltage Transformer. ZMPT101B AC Voltage Sensor is the perfect solution for various applications of the DIY project, where we need to measure the accurate AC voltage with a voltage transformer. It is said to be the most prominent way to measure the AC voltage using Arduino/ESP8266/Raspberry Pi like an open-source platform.
These modules are designed as an Onboard precision miniature voltage transformer, the active phase AC output voltage transformer module. The Onboard precision op-amp circuit in the module performs signal sampling and also appropriate compensation for precise functions. Whereas the mode voltage output module measures AC voltage within 250V, the corresponding output mode can be adjusted. This module is ideally suited for measuring an AC voltage. The output signal is the sine wave, the waveform of the median (DC component).
When connected to the screw terminals the sensor will sample the input. And thus output an analogue voltage, in the region of 0 – 5V. Thuss makes it quite easy to use in power monitoring applications and checking supplies. The output signal resembles an alternating signal. This matches the AC voltage measured with a baseline voltage of 2.5v representing 0V.
