The TL074 designed as a Quad Package Operational Amplifier, that consists of four Op-Amps inside it and each Op-Amp can be used independently.  This op-amp IC contains four OP-AMPs. It consists of high voltage junction field-effect transistors (JFETs) and Bi-polar junction transistors (BJTs). The main feature of the TL074 Op-Amp is that it comprises of high-voltage JFET and bipolar transistors which helps the transistor to have very high input impedance and low bias current.
TL074 IC widely used where high-accuracy required with respect to low harmonic and noise, as used for audio pre-amplification. The audio pre-amplification means for getting output audio with low noise, interference, distortion and also used for controlling the volume, bass and treble. It also compares the voltage like the other op-amp ICs do. So, can be used as a voltage comparator IC. Moreover, TL074 also features low Input bias and Offset currents. It’s a dual Op-amp IC means it contain two op-amp inside.

Meanwhile, the basic purpose of employing an operational amplifier in an analog circuit is to perform the function of signal amplification: The process of boosting an electrical signal of low strength to a level of higher amplitude.
