The TOP245YN Off-Line Switcher IC is a highly efficient AC-DC power conversion IC designed for switched-mode power supply (SMPS) applications. Part of the trusted TOPSwitch™ family, this device integrates a high-voltage power MOSFET, PWM controller, oscillator, and comprehensive protection circuitry into a single compact component.
The TOP245YN reduces overall component count, simplifies SMPS design, and improves system reliability. The YN version comes in a TO-220 package, allowing easy mounting with a heat sink for improved thermal performance.
