This VS1053 MP3 recording module development board is designed with an onboard recording function. It is capable of recording and playback a variety of music formats, support for OGG encoding real-time recording. It supports OGG encoding real-time recording and can record and playback a number of music formats. MP3, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, WMA, MIDI, FLAC, and WAV are among the audio formats that the VS1053 module can decode (PCM and ADPCM). It can also record audio in PCM (WAV) and compressed Ogg Vorbis formats. It can also do a variety of things with the audio, such as digitally change the bass, treble, and loudness. There are additionally eight GPIO pins on the board that may be used for things like lighting tiny LEDs or reading buttons.
In this VS1053, in addition to playing a variety of music formats but also supports the OGG real-time encoding recording. SPI interface, control signal lines are extracted. The module consists of an onboard TF SD card slot to store the record data as well as playback whenever required. Or easily transport the recorded MP3 file to any device via SD card.
The module consists of two separate 3.5 mm jacks for audio Out & Microphone In and Onboard Microphone for recording. This MP3 shield comes with a capacitor filter and a 12.288Mhz crystal oscillator. And also consists of an onboard power indicator light, which makes it easy to monitor the on/off status of the module. The onboard 3.3V and 2.5V LDO chip AMS-1117 in the module provide an 800mA current. The single power supply onboard for +5VDC provides the constant stabilized voltage to the circuit. Each order comes with a fully assembled and tested breakout board, some 0.1″ male header you can solder to the breakout so it plugs into a breadboard and a bonus stereo headphone jack that will be handy when you want to plug headphones in!
