SEN-PPI35 PP Aquarium Liquid Water Level Sensor design based on a mechanically actuated floating switch used to sense the level of liquid in a tank. These float switches designed to activate electrical components, such as pumps, to start and stop automatically. Due to their high reliability, economical pricing, and easy installation these offer a wide range of applications.
A Float sensor defines as a simple water level indicator. This water level controller used in a pump, an indicator, an alarm, or other devices. This is actually a Magnetic float sensor with an electromagnetic ON/OFF switch that floats on top of a liquid surface. The float switch is to open or close a circuit as the liquid level rises or falls. Float switches remain “normally closed, condition indicates that the two wires from the top of the switch form a complete circuit.
This float sensor consists of a magnetic reed switch to open or close the circuit. The reed switch designed to enclosed in a glass tube, cemented into a plastic or stainless steel stem with epoxy. When the magnet comes in contact with each other allowing the current to pass through. As soon as the magnet moved away, the contacts demagnetize and separate, thus breaks the circuit,
The float switch installations reduce the chance for the accumulation of dirt on the float that would prevent its motion.
