This G3/4 Thread Water Flow Sensor is used to measure liquid flow using this 3/4″ Brass water flow sensor. This sensor is designed as a high-quality brass body and can be used for industrial and commercial applications. This Brass G3/4″ Water Flow Sensor offers a 2 to 45 Liter/min flow rate used with Drinking water health standards, 0-80℃. These are arranged in line with your water line and consists of a pinwheel sensor to measure how much liquid has moved through it.
This flow sensor works on the principle of the Hall Effect. According to this principle, a voltage difference is induced in the conductor due to the rotation of the rotor. The integrated magnetic Hall Effect sensor in the sensor outputs an electrical pulse with every revolution. The Hall Effect sensor is protected from the water pipe ensuring the sensor stays safe and dry. Thus the water flows are calculated by counting the pulses from the output of the sensor. Each litre of water contains approximately 477 pulses with an accuracy of 10%. Moreover, it consists of three-wire connections: Red for the positive pole, black for the negative pole, yellow for the pulse signal.
This Water flow sensor includes a brass valve through which water can pass. A water rotor along with a Hall Effect sensor senses and measure the water flow. As the water flows through the valve, the rotor rotates. This results in variation in the speed of the motor. This variation is calculated as output as a pulse signal by the Hall Effect sensor. Thus, the rate of flow of water is measured. Moreover, these sensors are widely used in the water industrial field, such as thermostatic water heaters, water purifiers, water dispensers, smart card equipment, coffee machine etc.
