Description
The DC to DC boost converter steps up the input voltage from 2.5-6V.to any high output voltage from 4-12 V at a continuous current of 1.A depending on the input-output voltage settings. Since it is a boost convertor the output voltage will be always higher than the input voltage. This USB charging DC-DC step-up power module booster is a low-cost module with over current and current limiting features. The boost converter with a constant frequency of 1Mhz uses the Taiwan production boost chip with high efficiency of up to 92%. This module features a built-in over-current protection chip, under-voltage protection into a state below 2.5V. Thereby offers better protection for the module and thus avoids excessive discharge.
This module offers fixed resistor adjustments, thus the output voltage adjusted up to 12V output. But to ensure that the output power is less than 5W. This 1A USB charger DC step-up module uses a standard USB interface, which supports all universal USB charging mobile phones, MP3, MP4, and other equipment, the perfect support for iPhone and another mobile phone. The device is able to use TDK multilayer ceramic capacitors as the main filter capacitor. Which avoids the output ripple can be as low as 20mV (5V1A output case). And also long term aging concerns and provides compact packaging. The module consists of an on-board LED which indicates the charging status when USB is charging.
