The 74LS245 Octal Bus Transceiver IC belongs to 74XXYY IC series. The 74LS245 designed as an Octal Bus Transmitter/Receiver specifically for 8-line asynchronous 2-way data communication between data buses. The Direction Input (DR) controls the transmission of Data from bus A to bus B or bus B to bus A depending upon its logic level. The Enable input E’ used to disable the device so that the device effectively isolates. This 74LS245 IC also features:
