74LS28 Quad 2-Input NOR Buffer IC

The 74LS28 Quad 2-Input NOR Gate IC is part of the 74XXYY series of integrated circuits. This IC package contains three NOR gates, each of which has three inputs, therefore the name Quad 2- Input NOR Gate, which is made using low-power Schottky technology. The 74LS28 IC may be used in a wide variety of operating voltages and under a wide range of circumstances. And it works with CMOS, NMOS, and TTL directly. The IC’s output is always in TTL, making it simple to interface with other TTL devices and microcontrollers. The IC 74LS28 is smaller in size and has a significantly higher speed, making it extremely dependable in any device.

74LS28 Operates at a voltage range: +4.75V to +5.25V. This IC  is designed for operation over the full military temperature range of 0°C to 70°C. 74LS28 manufactured in 14−pin plastic PDIP wide body surface-mount packages. 74LS10 IC can be soldered directly to the circuit board or easily mounted on a 14 pin IC base.

A NOR gate designed as an OR gate followed by a NOT gate in a cascade model. The inclusive NOR (Not – OR) gate has a logic level “1” output that only goes “LOW” to a logic level “0” when any of its inputs are at logic level “1.” The inclusive OR gate is referred to as the reverse or complementary counterpart of the logic NOR gate.
