ACT30BH High Performance Off-Line Controller IC

The ACT30 is a high-performance off-line power supply controller that uses green energy. It has a scalable driver for switching line voltage with external NPN or MOSFET transistors. Many advanced capabilities can be combined into a tiny package (TO-92 or SOT23-B) thanks to this patented architecture, resulting in the lowest total cost solution.

The ACT30 is a pulse frequency and width modulation IC with a variety of flexible packaging options. It has six internal terminals. For 65kHz or 100kHz switching frequency and 400mA or 800mA current limit, one combination of internal terminals is packaged in the space-saving TO-92 packaging (A/B variants). The IC has an over-current, hiccup mode short circuit, and under-voltage protection methods and consumes only 0.15W in standby mode.

The ACT30 is ideal solution for use in high-performance universal adaptors and chargers. For the highest performance versus cost and smallest PCB area, use the ACT30 in combination with the ACT32 CV/CC Controller.
