MPX10DP designed as a dual-port uncompensated Silicon Pressure Sensor for environmental control systems and level indicators. The MPX10 series designed based on silicon piezoresistive pressure sensor technology provides an accurate and linear voltage output. This output voltage is directly proportional to the applied pressure. This standard uncompensated sensor allows the manufacturers to design and add their own external temperature compensation and signal conditioning networks. Thus, the compensation techniques are made simplified because of the predictability of NXP’s single element strain gauge design. The sensor module designed extremely as a compact package. Its small dimensions and low power consumption makes it ideal for a wide range of applications
Due to the different functions such as power consumption, resolution, and filter performance makes numerous device operation options offer with the highest flexibility. Moreover, this high-precision sensor operates at a voltage range of 3V-6V at pressure range0-10kPa. This pressure sensor made up of a single element strain gauge. When the pressure applied on the pressure port increases, the output voltage at the gauge sensor will increase compared to the vacuum port. Similarly, the output voltage of the sensor increases as an increasing vacuum is applied to the vacuum port compared to the pressure port.
