This High Current Motor Driver Module BTS7960 designed basically as an H-bridge driver based on the Infineon chips BTS7960. The BTS7960 is a fully integrated high-power H-bridge driver module with thermal over-current protection. This High Current Motor Driver BTS7960 circuitry along with the 74HC244 chip effectively function to isolates the microcontroller and the motor driver. Thus provides strong drive and handle current up to 43A. A 5V onboard power indicator provided on this high power driver module. And also comes with an output voltage indication of motor driver output end with heat sink solder. The Output current is infinitely adjustable to meet various applications. This large current (43 A) H bridge driver and 5V isolate with MCU and effectively protect MCU.
The BTS7960 comes from the NovalithICTM family. It consists of one p-channel high side MOSFET and one n-channel low side MOSFET; with an integrated driver IC in one package. The presence of a p-channel high side switch eliminates the need for a charge pump thus minimizing EMI. Hence, this double BTS7960 43A H-Bridge High-Power Stepper Motor Driver Module is an ideal solution for protected high current PWM motor drives with very low board space consumption at an affordable price. Moreover, this integrated driver IC Â features logic level inputs; diagnosis with current sense, slew rate adjustment; dead time generation, and protection against over-temperature, overvoltage, under-voltage; overcurrent, and short circuit, make interfacing to a microcontroller easy.
