CD4077 belong to the CD4XXX IC series. This CD4077 designed as monolithic Quad 2-input exclusive NOR gate designed by implementing the complementary MOS technology, integrated with P and N type enhancement mode transistors. CD4077 manufactured in 14-lead dual-in-line plastic or ceramic package and plastic micro package. The CD4077 IC operates at a wide range of working voltage, a wide range of working conditions.
Moreover, this IC allows design engineers to direct the implementation of the positive-logic exclusive NOR gate and supplement the existing family of CMOS gates. CD4077 Â features high noise immunity and static protection through clamping diodes. The IC designed to operates at 5V, 10V, 15V, and even 20V. While operating at 5V, it offers a maximum low-level input voltage of 1.5V and the minimum high-level input voltage of 3.5V.
Meanwhile, the CD4075BE employs basic functions required in the implementation of digital integrated circuit systems. The N- and P channel enhancement mode transistors offer a symmetrical circuit with an output swing essentially equivalent to the supply voltage. They features equal source and sink current capabilities and conform to standard B series output drive. The devices also consists of buffered outputs that improve transfer characteristics by providing very high gain. All inputs protected against static discharge with diodes to VDD and VSS.
XNOR Gate designed as a type of digital logic gate that receives two inputs and produces one output. All inputs are treated with the same logic, responding equally to similar inputs. Also referred to as an ‘Equivalence Gate’. If all inputs to the XNOR gate remains 0, the gate generate output 1. If all inputs are 1, the gate also outputs 1. However, if any input to the gate differs from the other, the gate will output a 0.
